You will need to join CTY and then once your application is processed, you can register for the test that's right for your child in a few easy steps:
1. Select a Test
Read an overview of each test. Also, find a test location near you:
· The Spatial Test Battery (STB) and School and College Ability Test (SCAT) are available at Prometric test centers worldwide. Students can also take the SCAT online at home on a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks excluded.)
· Testing locations vary for the SAT®, ACT or PSAT™ 8/9. Find a PSAT 8/9, SAT, or ACT test center nearest to you.
2. Register to Test
Once you've selected a test, register and pay the test fee. Assessment vouchers are available for income-eligible students.
· Register for the SCAT (Prometric or Online) via MyCTY.
· Register for SCAT and STB tests via the Prometric website.
· Register for the ACT.
· Register for the SAT or PSAT 8/9 with the College Board®. Please note, the PSAT 8/9 cannot be considered for CTY eligibility for students in grades 8+.
Note that you will need your CTY eligibility number to register. This is different from your CTY ID number and can be found in the email you received after joining CTY.
