In order to qualify for CTY programs, students in grades 2-12 must achieve qualifying scores on an accepted test. For all tests, students can apply for testing accommodations such as extra time, an alternate format, a separate room, or a reader, among others. Students are approved for accommodations that align with documentation provided to CTY. SCAT and STB accommodations are approved by CTY Disability Services. SAT®/PSAT® and ACT accommodations are approved by College Board® and ACT.
CTY also accepts students’ scores from a variety of tests that students may have already taken at school or for other academic purposes. Learn more.
