CTY online courses are either graded or ungraded and this detail is displayed on individual course descriptions. No day or residential courses are graded. All CTY students receive a narrative evaluation from their instructor that provides individualized feedback describing students’ academic performance with an eye toward their future academic growth. They highlight not only areas in which students excel but also areas in which students can expand upon their skills and knowledge base. 

Please note that CTY cannot accommodate requests to issue grades for ungraded courses.

CTY does not provide academic credit. Families must work directly with their school to negotiate credit or placement for CTY courses in advance of enrollment. Learn more.
