CTY’s On-Campus Programs courses are not graded. Students receive a narrative evaluation from their instructor that provides individualized feedback, describing students’ academic performance with an eye toward their future academic growth. They highlight not only areas in which students excel but also areas in which students can expand upon their skills and knowledge base.
If required by a school in order to consider granting placement or credit for the content learned during a summer On-Campus Programs course, CTY will issue a grade. Note that only students in Fast Paced courses can receive a grade. Requests need to be made before program starts.
To make a request, contact ctyenrollment@jhu.edu. Once a letter grade is issued, it is a permanent part of a student’s CTY Official Academic Record, and cannot be omitted from the record or changed.
