CTY is accredited for grades K-12 by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
The option to receive credit or placement for CTY Online Programs courses comes at the discretion of your child’s current or prospective school. CTY Online Programs does not award credit for its courses, but we encourage parents and students to speak to their school about credit or placement prior to enrolling in a CTY online course. We recommend you direct school officials to our online course catalog in which each course description includes detailed information, such as NCAA approval status, that will help with their decision to grant school credit or placement for the course. Finally, here is some information that will support you as you approach your school.
Upon the successful completion of a course, students receive a course completion document, which parents can download from the MyCTY portal and provide to the child’s school. You may also request that CTY send an official academic record to your child’s school.
